Installation in short
One thing that surprises customers most is how simple installation is. No lifting floors, no screed, no need to move out. In an average home installation takes one to two days.
Step by step
- Planning. Send us a floor plan or room measurements. We calculate the power for each room, mark where heating runs and where extension panels go, and give you the locations of the electrical points.
- Electrical preparation. An electrician prepares the electrical points according to the plan, along with the thermostat locations.
- Removing the existing skirting boards where the system is installed.
- Fixing the base to the wall — as simple as putting up a shelf.
- Connecting the heating elements and the thermostat, according to the wiring diagram in the guide.
- Fitting the decorative panel — and the matching extension panel on unheated sections.
The full guide, with wiring diagrams and assembly drawings, is open to everyone: Pannel-Heat installation guide (Hebrew).
DIY or professional installation?
The system was designed so that anyone handy with tools can install it with our guide. The electrical work — preparing the points and connecting to the panel board — is done by a licensed electrician. If you prefer, installers who work with us can do the whole job, and installation is included in the calculator.
New build, renovation or existing home
- Existing home: only the skirting boards are replaced. Floors, walls and furniture stay in place.
- Renovation: coordinate with the electrician at the electrical stage, and install at the end, in place of the skirting.
- New build: the easiest time — points are planned from the start, and no special floor layers are needed as with underfloor heating.
After installation
Each room is switched on from its thermostat. There are no filters to clean and no routine maintenance.
