Why is our system more economical?
When it comes to heating the home, it’s important to understand the differences between the existing methods — both in terms of heating quality and energy consumption. Common heating systems fall into three main categories:- Heat blowers and air conditioners – Work by pushing hot air, but often create an uneven heat sensation and sometimes dry out the air.
- Heat radiators (red radiant heat) – Like patio heaters in restaurants or heat lamps in bathrooms. Very focused heating, but less suitable for heating entire spaces over time.
- Natural heat convection – Cold air descends, touches a hot surface, and disperses evenly and pleasantly throughout the space. This is where systems like fireplaces, underfloor heating, radiators – and also our panel – come into play. This heating method is considered healthier, more pleasant, and more efficient.
The panel’s economy advantages:
- Fast and even heat distribution – The panel distributes heat more effectively and quickly than any other system.
- High thermal efficiency – The system is not buried under the floor, so heat is not wasted by passing through layers of insulation. All energy is channeled directly into the room space.
- Heat retention in the walls, not the ceiling – The heat emitted by the panel is “captured” by the building’s walls and does not immediately rise to the ceiling – thus creating maximum effectiveness without energy waste.
- Significantly lower energy consumption – In an experiment we conducted between a water-based underfloor heating system and the panel, installations in identical homes showed that the panel consumed the least amount of energy to achieve the same heat level.
- Operational flexibility – There’s no need to keep the system on all winter. It can be turned on and off as needed – a huge advantage during transitional seasons, where the weather changes dramatically between day and night.
